Casuarina branchlets

When I’m out walking I like to imagine how I might paint the scene or part of the scene before me even though I’m unlikely to pick up a brush. Thanks to the efforts of local bushcare volunteers and Council, the native casuarinas on Iron Cove are becoming more plentiful. Birds, lizards, insects, and small mammals love them! Their dense branchlets have always given me something to grapple with.
